If you would like to make a complaint against MidWay Mediation or any staff or mediators working on behalf of MidWay Mediation, please see the process below.

Contact us with your concerns in writing via email at info@midwaymediation.co.uk.  All complaints will be acknowledged by MidWay Mediation in writing within 5 working days of receipt. 

All complaints will be thoroughly investigated, and a response made by MidWay Mediation within 21 working days of receipt. If more time is needed in order to gather information and complete the investigation, MidWay Mediation will contact the complainant in writing to inform them that additional time is required. 

The investigation will be carried out by an appropriate individual, other that the Mediator that the complaint relates to. If the response to the complaint is not accepted by the complainant, an appeal can be made in writing and this must be done within 30 days of the initial response by MidWay Mediation.  Any appeals will be acknowledged in writing by MidWay Mediation within 5 working days of receipt and further investigations carried out and a response sent within 21 working days or receipt of the appeal.

Should the response to an appeal by MidWay Mediation not be accepted, the complainant can appeal to the CMC on certain grounds. Details of the CMC's appeal processes can be found here: https://civilmediation.org/for-thepublic/complaints/
